Change the plan, rather than the destination
A seaside trip does not have to mean spending all day on the beach. Outside summer, come for walks, short visits to the pier and a few days away from everyday tasks. Let the weather shape your plans: a longer walk in good conditions, coffee and a rest when the rain comes in.
We do not promise an empty town. Weekends, events and sunny days can bring visitors outside the holiday season too. For a quieter pace, consider a weekday stay and check the town’s events calendar before choosing dates.
A nearby room is useful in winter too
The beach is about 40 m from SeaSide. That makes it easy to return, change and warm up after a walk. Rooms have heating, and the shared corner with coffee, tea and filtered water is available around the clock. A short outing does not have to become a full-day expedition.
Pack layers, comfortable shoes and something to keep the wind out. Check the forecast before leaving and choose a route to suit the conditions. You can shorten a coastal walk without feeling that you have wasted the day.
The view changes with the season
This is something guests often ask about. Summer dune greenery and trees partly obscure the shoreline. In winter, almost all rooms except Economy have a view of the sea. Choose using the specific room description, floor and layout, rather than relying only on a summer photograph.
Rooms are compact, so think about how you want to spend your time. For two people, compare Standard and Deluxe; the Deluxe Apartment has a separate living room. See the room differences.
Remember that some times change
From October to April, check-in begins at 14:00. From May to September, it begins at 15:00. Check-out is by 11:00. Reception is usually staffed from 9:00 to 15:00, but off-season on-site hours are irregular. We are available remotely when we are not at reception.
Outside June-August, breakfast at Billy’s is served from 10:00 to 12:00, if your offer includes it. Check the price for your particular dates in the online booking form.
